Agreeing to these terms

These terms cover your use of the Reliable Castle Rock Insulation Services website and any work you hire us to do. By using the site, asking for an estimate or scheduling a job, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the site or book work with us.

On this page, "we," "us" and "our" mean Reliable Castle Rock Insulation Services. "You" means the person using the site, or the homeowner or property owner who hires us.

What we do

We're an insulation contractor in Castle Rock, CO, and we work on homes and commercial buildings in Castle Rock and the cities around it. Our work includes attic, wall, crawl space and basement insulation, spray foam, blown-in insulation, air sealing, vapor barriers and removing old insulation. You can see the full list on our home page and read more about us.

What we'll do on your job is what's written in your estimate or contract. Work that isn't written there, such as drywall repair, roofing, electrical or heating and cooling changes, isn't included unless we both agree to it in writing.

The website describes our services in general terms. It's information, not an offer for a specific job and not professional advice about your house.

Estimates and pricing

Estimates are free and come with no obligation. We give them after we've seen the space, because the price depends on the size of the area, how much insulation is already up there, the material you pick, how much air sealing it needs and whether old insulation has to come out first.

An estimate holds for the period written on it. If we find something during the job that we couldn't see at the estimate, such as wet insulation, droppings, mold or damaged framing, we'll stop and talk with you before doing extra work, and we won't charge for added work you haven't approved.

The prices in your written estimate or contract control over anything said on the website.

Scheduling, access and cancellation

We'll set a start date with you. Dates can move because of weather, material supply or a delay on an earlier job, and we'll tell you as soon as we know.

You agree to give our crew safe access to the work area, clear the way to the attic hatch, crawl space or walls we're working on, and keep kids and pets out of the work area. On spray foam jobs, you agree to follow our instructions about leaving the house and the re-entry time, which is when it's safe to come back inside.

If you need to cancel or reschedule, call us at (720) 408-0974 as early as you can. If we've already ordered special materials or started work, you may owe for those materials and the work done up to that point, as your contract sets out. Any cancellation right the law gives you still applies.

Payment

Your estimate or contract sets out any deposit and when the balance is due. Unless it says otherwise, the balance is due when the work is finished.

If a payment is late, we may pause further work until it's settled, and you'll owe reasonable collection costs where the law allows. We keep any rights the law gives contractors to secure payment for their work.

Warranties and what we don't promise

Any warranty on our workmanship is the one written in your contract. Insulation materials carry the maker's own warranty, and we'll pass those along to you.

Beyond those written warranties, and as far as the law allows, we make no other promises, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. We can't promise a set drop in your power bill or a set temperature in any room, because that also depends on your heating and cooling system, windows, weather and how the house is used.

The website is provided "as is." We try to keep it accurate, but we don't promise it's complete, current or free of errors.

Limits on our liability

As far as Colorado law allows, Reliable Castle Rock Insulation Services isn't liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, including lost use or lost profits, that come from the website or our work. Our total liability on any job is limited to the amount you paid us for that job.

We aren't responsible for conditions that were there before we started, such as hidden leaks, mold, pest damage or wiring problems, or for damage from work someone else does after we finish. Nothing here limits liability that the law doesn't let us limit.

Resolving a problem

If something isn't right, call us or reach us through our contact page first, because most problems get fixed fastest when we come back out and look at them with you.

If we can't work it out, both sides agree to try mediation in good faith before going to court. If it still isn't settled, either side may take the matter to a Colorado court that has jurisdiction over it.

Governing law

These terms and any work we do for you are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, without regard to its conflict of law rules.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version on this page when you use the site or sign your contract is the one that applies, and a change won't affect a contract you've already signed unless we both agree in writing.

If any part of these terms can't be enforced, the rest still applies.
